Can someone reccomend some software to keep me organized?

I am a very unorganized web developer. I work with one other person, a web designer. We are constantly emailing our documents and notes back and forth and its becoming a little overbearing. Can someone recommend some software (preferably web based) to keep our projects in order? Maybe something with a ticket assigning system?
